The difference between PABX and IP PBX is that PABX stands for Private Automatic Branch Exchange, a device that centralizes telephone lines in a specific location, for example offices, buildings, residences, schools, and so on.
A PABX handles incoming and outgoing calls to the destination number, so users can easily place a call just by dialing the destination number.
An IP PBX, on the other hand, is a telephone system that provides calls over an IP data network. All conversations are sent as data packets over the network. This technology includes advanced communication features and also gives you the flexibility to extend it and integrate it with other systems.
