All calls are forwarded to the nurse station with priority based on urgency level, so medical staff can respond faster to critical conditions.
In addition, this system also supports Emergency Call, which can forward calls to several numbers in sequence until a staff member actually answers. A verification mechanism using a DTMF code makes sure the call is received by a human, not a machine or IVR.
