If your company is looking for a local PMS that can be integrated with the 3CX system, one option is Visual Hotel Program (VHP), which uses the standard Mitel protocol. The integrations that are already available are as follows:
Check in and Check out
A guest who arrives at the hotel and is registered in the PMS system will automatically activate the phone in that room, and the name of the extension is changed to the guest’s name.
Wake up Message
If this feature in the PMS is enabled, it automatically syncs to 3CX to set a reminder and will place a wake-up call according to the schedule previously set in the PMS.
DND
If a guest does not want to be disturbed, the PMS can enable the DND (do not disturb) feature, which rejects every call directed to that room.
Station Restriction
Blocks the room extension from calling the PSTN.
Maid Message
Sets a status using the phone, which sends information to the PMS such as:
- STS1 – Maid Present
- STS2 – Clean
- STS3 – Not Clean
- STS4 – Out of Service
- STS5 – To be Inspected
- STS6 – Occupied/Clean
- STS7 – Occupied/Not Clean
- STS8 – Vacant/Clean
- STS9 – Vacant/Not Clean
Mini Bar Message
Minibar staff send information from the phone to the PMS about how many drinks are in the fridge, using an item code.
Billing system
Sends the PMS information about the guest room’s phone charges, so that at checkout the PMS knows the total bill for that room.
